The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (“ICAI”) has migrated the existing UDIN Portal to ICAI DigiCA Platform on 20th December 2025 for improved interface, better usability and enhanced features.
In addition, ICAI will launch a dedicated UDIN Mobile App, both on IOS and Android platforms, on 30th December 2025, to provide convenient mobile access for members.
The ICAI, on December 20, 2025, has issued the User Manual of the UDIN Portal for ICAI DigiCA platform and following announcements:
- Addendum to FAQs on Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN), 5th Edition – ICAI DigiCA Platform
- Validation of UDINs on the e-Filing Portal Based on Five Parameters Instead of Four
- Additional information required during UDIN generation under ”GST & Tax Audit” and ”Audit & Assurance Functions” Categories – Details of Preceding year’s of Audit
