Mr. Chopra was the Convenor / Chairman of Direct Taxes Committee of the PHD Chamber, which organized this prestigious event. The Conference aimed to promote an informed dialogue on important issues of International Taxation and to analyze and debate on Indian Tax laws for a more effective & efficient tax regime that would facilitate & promote FDI & Cross Border Trade.

Transfer Pricing: Recent Developments & Issues
The Transfer Pricing regulations were introduced in India about a decade ago. In this period, the pace of reforms had never been as dynamic as the last one year. With retrospective clarifications, expansion of scope of transfer pricing to domestic companies, and introduction of safe harbours and Advance Pricing Agreements mechanism, taxpayers needed to re-evaluate their transfer pricing positions. Against this backdrop, PHD Chambers arranged a one day conference to discuss the various related issues of Transfer Pricing.
